About LoDo

What is LoDo?

LoDo is a hemp-derived THC drink brand. We make 10mg single-serve THC shots, 750ml THC spirits with 5mg or 10mg per serving, Cannabis Cooler Cans (5mg and 10mg non-carbonated iced teas and lemonades), and high-dose cans at 25mg and 55mg. Every product uses naturally derived Delta-9 THC from compliant hemp and is third-party lab tested every batch.

What makes LoDo different?

Two things: price and quality. We run roughly half the price-per-milligram of the premium hemp-derived THC drink brands, with the same hemp-derived Delta-9 THC and the same lab testing standards. We don't charge for the brand. We charge for the buzz.

Legality

Are LoDo THC drinks legal?

Yes. LoDo uses naturally derived Delta-9 THC from compliant hemp, which is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill provided the finished product contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. We ship to most states. Some states have passed their own restrictions on hemp-derived intoxicants — if your state is one, we won't ship there.

Do I need a medical marijuana card?

No. Hemp-derived THC drinks don't require a medical card. They're sold under federal Farm Bill rules and don't involve the dispensary system.

Are LoDo drinks the same as marijuana?

Chemically the THC molecule is the same. Legally they're different. LoDo products are sourced from hemp and stay under the federal 0.3% Delta-9 by dry weight limit, which makes them federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. Marijuana-derived THC products are restricted to state-licensed dispensaries.

Dosing & Onset

How long does it take to feel a LoDo THC drink?

Most people feel it in 5 to 15 minutes. We use nano-emulsion technology, which means the THC is absorbed faster than traditional edibles. A standard 5mg or 10mg dose usually lasts about an hour. Higher-dose cans (25mg and 55mg) run 2–4 hours.

How much THC should I start with?

Never tried THC before? Start with 2.5mg — about half of a 5mg shot or half a 5mg cooler can. Wait 15 minutes. If you don't feel anything, you can have the rest. If you've used cannabis before, 5mg or 10mg is a typical starting dose. The 25mg and 55mg cans are for experienced users only.

What if I take too much?

You can't fatally overdose on THC, but you can have a deeply unpleasant experience — anxiety, racing heart, nausea, dizziness. If it happens: sit down, drink water, eat something with fat in it, try black pepper (the terpene caryophyllene blunts THC effects), and remember it will pass in 1–3 hours. CBD also helps if you have any.

Can I mix LoDo with alcohol?

Don't, especially as a beginner. Alcohol amplifies THC blood concentrations. The combined effects are unpredictable and tend toward dizziness, nausea, and "the spins." Pick one.

Effects

Will LoDo give me a hangover?

No. LoDo contains zero alcohol, so the next-morning hangover doesn't apply. Most customers report feeling clear-headed the morning after.

How is LoDo different from THC gummies?

Three big differences: onset, duration, and social context. LoDo drinks kick in 5–15 minutes vs 30–90 for gummies. Gummies last 4–6 hours; a 10mg drink lasts about an hour. And drinks fit naturally into social rituals — you can hold one at a party, mix one into a cocktail, share a 750ml bottle, or crack a cooler can like a beer. Gummies are more discreet but slower.

Will LoDo show up on a drug test?

Yes. Hemp-derived Delta-9 THC is the same molecule tested for in standard 5-panel and 10-panel drug screens. Standard tests can't tell the difference between hemp-derived and cannabis-derived THC. If you're tested for work, skip THC products entirely.

Shipping & Stocking

Do you ship to my state?

We ship to most states where hemp-derived Delta-9 THC products are legal. About 15 states have passed restrictions on intoxicating hemp products and we don't ship to those. Check your state at checkout — if we can't ship to your zip, the cart will tell you.

How fast does LoDo ship?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days from our warehouse. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days depending on your location.

Can I find LoDo in stores near me?

Yes — LoDo is sold at liquor stores, smoke shops, and select grocery retailers across the country. Use our store locator to find a retail partner near you.

Lab testing & quality

Is LoDo lab-tested?

Yes. Every batch is third-party lab-tested to confirm potency, purity, and that the Delta-9 THC content stays within the federal 0.3% by dry weight limit. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available on request.

How do you guarantee what's on the label is what's in the bottle?

Each batch goes through ISO/IEC 17025-accredited third-party lab testing before it ships. The COA includes the cannabinoid profile, contaminant screening (heavy metals, pesticides, residual solvents, microbials), and exact Delta-9 THC concentration by dry weight.

Storage & Handling

How should I store LoDo products?

Store in a cool, dark place. Refrigeration is preferred for the 750ml spirits, shots, and cooler cans once opened. Shelf life is at least 12 months from manufacture. Avoid prolonged temperatures over 80°F, which can degrade the terpene profile.

How long does an opened bottle last?

An opened 750ml THC spirit refrigerated should be consumed within 30 days for best flavor. Shots and cooler cans are single-serve so this isn't a concern. High-dose cans should be finished within 24–48 hours of opening if not consumed in one session.

What if I don't like the taste?

Can I return THC products?

Federal hemp products generally aren't returnable to retailers once opened. If you have a quality issue with a sealed product, contact us within 30 days of delivery for resolution.

  • LoDo THC shots and multiserve bottles are shelf-stable and safe to store at room temperature, as well as in the fridge. Do not freeze. We recommend consuming the product within a year of purchase.

  • LoDo products contain Delta 9 THC (yes, the good stuff). Delta 9 THC is the “industry standard” for consumers looking for the staple cannabis effect. This is why we choose to use Delta 9 THC as opposed to Delta 8, Delta 10, HHC or other synthetic cannabinoids that have been introduced in the last several years.

  • For your first experience we recommend sipping on one serving (1.5 fl oz), seeing how you feel after about 15-30 minutes, and crafting your experience from there.

  • Unlike edibles, our product was designed to have a quick and consistent onset time. Most consumers will start to feel a buzz within 10-15 minutes with the effects diminishing around an hour after consuming.
